Kathryn's Story
Kathryn Nicole (Nikki) Louis-Grimes was very passionate about food and wine pairings. Nikki was at the beginning of making her mark in this highly competitive world when she passed away unexpectedly on February 9, 2019. In the years prior Nikki worked her way through a culinary experience in New Orleans at Brennan's, NOLAS, AUGUST, and Langlois to name a few. She frequently volunteered at the Arthur Ashe Charter school inspiring kids to pursue an interest in all things dealing with food. This is our family's way of honoring Nikki's memory by creating an awards foundation to assist and sponsor underprivileged youth towards careers in the Culinary Arts.
